Reality for the typical entrepreneur:

I’m overwhelmed. I feel like I’m drowning.

My strategy? Apparently it’s “Make this sh*t up as a I go”.

It’s like I am walking in a fog, with no idea what to do next.

All my time’s spent working in, instead of on,  my business.

Honestly, I feel lonely, isolated, and pretty down some days.

I just want some clarity, some order, some simplicity.

Ambrose Merrell is a successful high-tech entrepreneur, economist and author with 20 years experience in strategy development and business planning.

Starting with $2000 and a laptop he built a web development and software business that, within 5 years, was a key supplier to some of the UK's largest companies, and was turning down a $5 million offer for the business. All this with zero debt or external investment. He did, however, make an astonishing number of mistakes, which taught him well. ”Don’t turn down $5 million you fool” being one of the more memorable lessons.

He has consulted at board level for Compass Group, a $20 billion multinational, and worked with many other large, medium and small businesses, not-for-profits and government. Originally from England he moved to Vancouver in 2006.  show more
